Small and medium size series

Additive manufacturing is often seen in competition with plastic injection. At PROD3D, we are convinced that the two technologies are complementary. 3D printing is used when deadlines are short, and the quantities required do not justify the manufacture of a mould for injection.

Prototyping

3D printing has many advantages, notably its speed and the reliability of its output depending on the technologies used. These advantages make it ideal for implementing design thinking and incremental improvement approaches through prototyping. With this approach, you are sure to get the optimal final product that meets your needs and constraints.

Repairing

To satisfy customers who are increasingly committed to sustainable consumption and circular economy, we offer a repair and manufacturing service for parts that are damaged, rare or no longer available on the market. Using high-performance scanners, we obtain a 3D model of the part, which our engineers redesign to repair, rethink and adapt it for 3D printing. This process is called reverse engineering. The part is then printed and post-processed to achieve the same rendering and mechanical properties as the original part.

Complex geometries

The concept of layer-by-layer manufacturing in 3D printing allows access to unexplored areas in terms of geometry. Mixing colours, textures, counter-forms... the possibilities are multiplied tenfold to lighten, improve and make our objects breathe, while playing on their resistance and aesthetics.
